Description
The Instrument Commissioning Engineer is responsible for implementing and testing instrument commissioning activities, including SAT/loop tests, functional tests, and subsystem testing across APC, DCS, PLC, and ESD systems. The role prepares test reports, procedures, method statements, and commissioning documentation; interfaces with project, pre-commissioning, company, and vendor teams; leads commissioning activities on small projects; and ensures compliance with HSE, PPE, and permit-to-work requirements. A bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant oil and gas experience, including 4 years in a key commissioning role, are required.
