Description
Lam is hiring a Cost Performance Engineer to support new-product-introduction costing, including costing built-to-print mechanical parts and assemblies, troubleshooting costing challenges, improving manufacturability and assembly, coordinating pilot production, and reviewing engineering drawings and bills of materials. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering with at least five years of experience, or a related diploma with at least seven years of experience, along with manufacturing, DFM, DFC, process planning, and BOM knowledge. Preferred qualifications include semiconductor or capital-equipment manufacturing knowledge, statistical analysis, DFMEA, aPriori costing, stakeholder management, and Creo or NX software experience. The role may be performed in an on-site flex or virtual flex hybrid arrangement.
