Description
Lam is hiring a Cost Performance Engineer to support new-product-development costing and cost reduction across manufacturing processes and supplier operations. The role covers built-to-print mechanical parts and assemblies, troubleshooting costing challenges, improving manufacturability, coordinating pilot production, reviewing engineering drawings and bills of materials, and preparing handoff packages for high-volume manufacturing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering with at least five years of experience, or a related diploma with at least seven years of experience, along with manufacturing, DFM, DFC, process planning, and BOM knowledge. The role may be performed under an on-site Flex or Virtual Flex hybrid model.
