Description
The Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer provides full lifecycle support for AWS data centers, from design and upgrades through construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and site improvements. The role troubleshoots equipment failures, performs root cause analysis, leads engineering audits, supports operational procedures and training, and acts as a resident engineer for new construction projects. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning education, knowledge of critical data center equipment, experience with mission-critical facilities, and a valid Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) – Factories. The position involves office and field work across local and global projects.
