American Express is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead enterprise data security initiatives, including compliance and control effectiveness, automation, workflow modernization, exception-request reviews, metrics and reporting, security capability design, audit response, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires 10+ years of cybersecurity, data security, or security engineering experience in a large enterprise, along with expertise in data protection, cloud security, secure application development, security architecture, governance, risk management, compliance, automation, and DevSecOps. Relevant certifications are a plus, and visa sponsorship is not offered.
