Ovative Group is hiring a Sr. Data & Software Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, deployment, automation, and maintenance of scalable software and data solutions. The role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, mentoring junior engineers, contributing to architecture and code reviews, and championing AI-assisted development practices. Candidates need at least five years of relevant data and software engineering experience, proficiency with SQL, Python, command-line tools, and ETL/ELT pipelines, and experience with cloud platforms and modern AI concepts. The position is based in Minneapolis, Chicago, or New York with remote work on other days, and offers a base salary of $90,000 to $132,000 annually plus a 20% bonus opportunity.
