Description
Amgen is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize complex data pipelines, data integration frameworks, metadata-driven architectures, and enterprise data fabric solutions. The role covers ETL/ELT, real-time and batch processing, big data technologies such as Apache Spark and AWS, data governance, security, performance tuning, CI/CD, and collaboration with data architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SparkSQL, Python, SQL, AWS, and Agile or DevOps practices, along with a relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree and 3–4 or 5–8+ years of experience, respectively.
