Description
Pomerleau is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in Montreal to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and medallion-layer models for business intelligence, AI, and analytics. The role covers data ingestion, transformation, canonical data assets, Microsoft Fabric development, Azure DevOps and Git deployment, legacy Azure Synapse migration, data quality, metadata, and lineage. It requires senior data engineering experience, strong SQL and data transformation skills, and familiarity with Fabric, Azure DevOps, Git, and downstream analytics; experience with Azure Synapse, data governance, dbt, and orchestration tools is preferred. The position is full-time, permanent, and hybrid.
