Description
Wealthsimple is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its AI Products Data Science team. The role leads the full AI product lifecycle, from defining KPIs and user pain points to training foundation models, running A/B tests and causal-inference experiments, building production training pipelines and evaluation harnesses, and measuring real-world impact. The scientist will partner with product, design, and engineering teams, translate business goals into technical AI roadmaps, and mentor teammates. The posting requires product analytics, production AI-model experience, transformer and LLM expertise, and familiarity with fine-tuning, distillation, quantization, and instruction tuning.
