Wabtec is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its IT Data & Analytics team to design, develop, test, deploy, and support predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI and machine learning solutions for business stakeholders. The role covers the full ML pipeline, data preprocessing, model training and deployment, AWS-based AI solutions, LLM fine-tuning, image processing, NLP, experimentation, and insights generation, while also mentoring interns or assisting data engineers and peers. Candidates need a B.Tech or M.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, at least six years of experience in data science, AI, machine learning, and Python, and expertise in Python, machine learning, deep learning, AWS, SQL, and related technologies.
