Description
Moog is hiring a Sr. Design Engineer for its Space Actuation team in East Aurora, New York, with an onsite work schedule in Buffalo, New York. The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Mechanical Design Engineering and involves translating project requirements into computer models, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings; overseeing technical design and delivery; collaborating with systems, project, and quality engineering teams; and ensuring design accuracy, material selection, and bill-of-materials completeness. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, at least five years of relevant design-engineering experience, mechanical CAD and GD&T knowledge, and the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter is preferred. The annual base salary range is $95,000 to $140,000 in Buffalo, New York, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
