American Plastics is hiring a Senior Design Engineer specializing in plastics to lead a team of design engineers at its new Innovation Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The role covers plastic component and product design, CAD modeling, prototyping, material selection, design optimization, manufacturability, quality assurance, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or plastics engineering, at least seven years of plastic product design experience, SolidWorks knowledge, prototyping experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.
