Cboe is hiring a Senior Detection Engineer to author, validate, and maintain production security detections across endpoint, identity, cloud, SaaS, network, and application telemetry. The role focuses on writing detection logic, executing adversary techniques, building sandbox and detonation infrastructure, creating automated regression tests, evaluating exploit code, supporting incident response, and documenting detection requirements. It requires substantial security engineering experience, detection-query-language fluency, knowledge of attacker tradecraft, tooling skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
