Mattel is hiring an AI Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale production-grade AI applications using Python and Google Cloud Platform. The role covers backend services, RESTful APIs and microservices, LLM and ML integrations, RAG pipelines, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, databases, containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and 5.5 to 9 years of backend development experience, with strong Python, GCP, distributed systems, and scalable architecture expertise.
