Description
Coherent is seeking a leader in Architectural Solutions to drive external technical engagement, translate customer and ecosystem requirements into technology and architectural strategy, and represent the company with customers, partners, startups, universities, and industry forums. The role reports to the CTO and requires an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, a PhD preferred, and 15+ years of experience in photonics, datacenter, or communications systems. Responsibilities include building relationships with hyperscalers and system companies, presenting technology roadmaps, developing architectural responses, monitoring emerging technologies, and developing partnership, investment, or acquisition recommendations.
