SpaceX is hiring a Senior DSP Systems Engineer in Silicon Engineering to develop next-generation ASICs for Starlink space and ground infrastructure. The role drives system architecture and program-level decisions for sensor firmware, software, and AI-driven RF sensing; develops digital beamforming, massive MIMO, direct-to-device, modem, and sensor-processing algorithms; models and tests system/link performance; collaborates across ASIC/FPGA, RF/antenna, and software teams; creates specifications, requirements, test procedures, and bit-/cycle-accurate vectors; and supports silicon bring-up, on-orbit demonstrations, and validation. The position requires a STEM bachelor's degree and 5+ years of system modeling, DSP, or RF/wireless design experience, with a listed Level 3 salary of $165,000-$265,000 yearly and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
