Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional to plan, implement, and coordinate EHS programs and policies for Garnet operations at its Easton, Pennsylvania and Hillsborough, New Jersey sites. The role covers regulatory compliance, internal audits, corrective actions, safety records, industrial hygiene, risk assessments, workers' compensation, training, emergency response, incident trends, and continuous improvement. Candidates should have a four-year degree in a relevant technical field, at least four years of EHS experience, chemical or manufacturing experience, and experience with regulatory or permitting compliance and risk assessments. The position may require travel between the two sites up to 25% and includes physical requirements such as lifting 50 pounds and moving a 55-gallon drum.
