AMPAM is hiring a Sr. Design Engineer – Electrical to lead electrical building-systems design and analysis for multi-family new-construction projects across California. The role covers power distribution, lighting, low-voltage systems, service and feeder design, engineering calculations, code-compliant construction documents, Revit MEP and BIM coordination, equipment selection, project coordination, construction administration, QA/QC reviews, and mentorship of junior staff. Candidates need an ABET-accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering bachelor's degree, 3–6 years of relevant experience, EIT certification, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP; multi-family experience, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, BIM 360, and calculation-software experience are preferred. The position requires authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis and does not offer employment sponsorship.
