Description
Arcadis is hiring a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer for its Power Delivery & Renewable unit to deliver substation physical electrical projects for utility and developer clients in North America. The role covers engineering, detail design, studies, drawings, analysis, bidding documents, procurement, construction documents, project estimates, proposals, client engagement, and coordination with civil, structural, high-voltage protection and control, telecommunications, geotechnical, and other engineering teams. The engineer will also mentor junior staff, support quality assurance and quality control, and may travel up to 25% to client sites and customer meetings. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least eight years of relevant substation project experience; a PE license and master’s degree are preferred. Compensation is listed as $70.52 per hour for part-time-as-needed work.
