Description

PierSight is hiring a full-time Sr. Embedded Hardware Engineer in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India for its Earth Observation Satellite Payload Development Team. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and validating complex mixed-signal embedded hardware for space applications, with strong emphasis on high-speed digital interfaces, RF circuitry, FPGA-based hardware, power-supply design, PCB layout constraint definition, SI/PI analysis, bring-up, debugging, and environmental/qualification testing.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of professional experience in embedded hardware or complex electronic-board design
Experience with FPGA-based circuit design and EDA tools
Experience with hardware bring-up and laboratory debugging
Experience developing electronics for satellite payloads, aerospace systems, defense systems, or other high-reliability applications
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in satellite, aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability electronics
Knowledge of space-grade and radiation-tolerant components
Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 or equivalent standards
Experience with environmental qualification and testing
Familiarity with low-jitter clock-tree design for ADCs/DACs
Experience with SI/PI simulation and analysis
