Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior Embedded Security Engineer for Starlink to design and build security infrastructure, cryptographic services, and security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites. The role also covers secure factory processes, production-system maintenance, security improvements, prototyping, and vulnerability research. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline plus 5+ years of security software development experience, or 7+ years of experience without a degree, along with experience in software development languages and security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure. The position offers a Level 3 base salary of $170,000 to $265,000, medical, vision, and dental coverage, retirement and disability benefits, paid leave, and other perks, with extended hours and weekends as needed.
