The Sr. Engineer 2 (Java) is a 12+ month contract role in Fort Worth, Texas, with a three-day hybrid onsite schedule. The position writes, tests, and documents technical work products; solves complex technical problems; builds components and libraries; coaches junior engineers; performs root-cause analysis; designs scalable and reliable systems; manages technical debt; partners with security; evaluates technical risks; improves delivery practices; reduces duplication; and leads technology prototypes. The role requires Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and production support experience, along with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7–9+ years designing and implementing large-scale production solutions.
