The System Modeling Sr II Software Engineer will design and develop power-electronic software and specifications for motor controls used in power tools and outdoor products. The role focuses on model-based design, MATLAB motor-control simulation, embedded C/C++ code generation, and the development of HIL, SIL, and MIL test environments using Speedgoat. It requires at least five years of embedded firmware research or product development experience, knowledge of motor-control algorithms such as FOC and trapezoidal control, and experience with closed-loop control and feedback systems.
