Description
Magna Electronics is hiring a Lead Software Functional Safety Architect to serve as the technical authority for embedded software platforms targeting ASIL D compliance. The role leads safety analysis, fault propagation, software FMEA and FTA, safety requirements, architectural modeling, safety audits, and independent verification, while mentoring engineers on ASIL-compliant coding standards. Candidates must have at least 10 years of embedded SoC development experience, 3+ years as a software architect, ASIL C or D certification experience, ISO 26262 expertise, formal safety-evaluation experience, and proficiency with safety analysis tools. The role is regular and permanent, requires current United States work authorization, and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
