Description
The role independently directs process optimization, troubleshooting, design, experiments, and capital projects in pharmaceutical or biotechnology operations, manufacturing, pilot plants, or capital projects. It involves developing engineering solutions, coordinating cross-functional and external teams, managing budgets and schedules, supervising engineers and technicians, and presenting complex results. The position requires a master’s degree in engineering with two years of engineering experience or a bachelor’s degree with four years of engineering experience, along with advanced engineering knowledge, problem-solving, validation, documentation, and project-management capabilities.
