AbbVie is hiring a Device Technology Horizon Engineer to evaluate delivery system and device technologies for its therapeutic pipeline. The role assesses patient, clinical, and business needs; compares emerging technologies; supports feasibility planning, RFPs, budgeting, timelines, and progression decisions; and identifies scalable platform opportunities. It requires an engineering degree, design control and combination product knowledge, and 12 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8 years with a master’s degree, including 3–8 years in medical devices and drug delivery.
