Lucid Motors is hiring a Sr. Engineer, Seatbelts to report to the Manager of Steering Wheel Unit and Seatbelts. The role owns seatbelt systems from specification and sourcing through design validation, ramp-up, manufacturing support, and post-SOP maintenance, while collaborating with design, ergonomic, seating, BIW, interior, CAE, crash-test, and homologation teams. Responsibilities include managing Tier 1 suppliers, defining reaction forces and interfaces, supporting restraint integration, and contributing to regulatory and consumer safety targets. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or a related field and generally 5+ years of related experience, with automotive seatbelt product development, system integration, CAE, and supplier-management experience preferred.
