Description
Ford is hiring a Software Architect to define and execute the technical strategy for its Pro fleet management platform. The role leads architecture and engineering for micro frontend and backend initiatives, scalable integrations, cloud-native platforms, data and telemetry architecture, security, observability, and operational excellence, while mentoring engineering teams. It requires a bachelor's degree and 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a lead architecture or engineering management role focused on large-scale distributed systems. The position is hybrid, with onsite work expected 4 or more days per week unless the candidate relocates or qualifies as exceptional for remote work; visa sponsorship is not available.
