Description
Ford is hiring a Software Architect to lead the technical strategy and architecture of its Pro Integrated Services fleet management platform. The role owns scalable, secure, cloud-native system architecture; microservices and micro frontend implementations; API and partner integrations; data and telemetry architecture; and technical leadership and mentorship of engineering teams. It requires a bachelor's degree and 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a lead architecture or engineering management role focused on large-scale distributed systems. The position is hybrid, with onsite work expected 4 or more days per week unless the candidate relocates or qualifies as exceptional for remote work, and visa sponsorship is not available.
