CACI is seeking a full-time Sr. Engineering Technician to support structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering and planning efforts for submarine maintenance at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. The role involves developing job summaries and task group instructions, assisting with deficiency forms and sales-cost estimates, and supporting 688 Class and 774 Class submarine and deep-submergence projects. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 15 years of related engineering technician experience, submarine or deep-submergence systems experience, SHAPEC or DSSP experience, knowledge of US Navy Shipyard applications including AIM, and the ability to read engineering drawings and use Microsoft Office. The position requires a Confidential clearance, up to 10% local travel, and may not be filled immediately because it is contingent on funding.
