Description
Trex is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Winchester, Virginia, to lead the design, operation, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of complex industrial mechanical utility systems supporting manufacturing and process operations. The role covers chilled water, compressed dry air, vacuum, steam, hot oil, exhaust, air abatement, wastewater processing, HVAC, and material conveyance systems, including P&ID development, design reviews, troubleshooting, capital project management, vendor coordination, energy optimization, and safety and compliance activities. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and at least seven years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience, with plastic composite extrusion, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred. The position is full-time and pays a base salary of $130,000–$150,000 annually, with additional bonus and benefits.
