Description
Lam is hiring FSE4 and FSE5 field-service engineers to serve as Engineer in Charge or senior technical owner for complex semiconductor equipment installations, escalations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery projects. The roles lead structured troubleshooting, Model-Based Problem Solving, risk assessments, technical execution, customer communication, cross-functional coordination, and knowledge transfer, with hands-on leadership primarily during core business hours and support for business-critical off-shift needs. FSE4 requires a bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, or a related technical field plus 7+ years of relevant experience; FSE5 requires 10+ years of relevant experience, technical-manager-level leadership, and product-line impact. The roles may be performed in hybrid On-site Flex or Virtual Flex arrangements and require frequent travel, clean-room work, and flexibility for shifts, compressed workweeks, overtime, and on-call duties.
