Smartsheet is hiring a senior AI engineering leader to independently own complex multi-system AI deployments, from technical discovery through production deployment and solutions-organization handoff. The role involves architecting multi-agent solutions, designing client-specific MCP resource packs, building Deployment Kits, leading Solutions Enablement Sprints, mentoring junior FDEs, and contributing to platform improvements. It requires 6–10+ years of production software engineering, including 3+ years deploying AI/ML to production, strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, enterprise system architecture expertise, and the ability to travel 25–50% domestically and internationally. The position is remote and requires ongoing eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
