Description
Amazon is hiring a Sr. Hardware Process Engineer for its Leo Inter-Satellite Link team to design, qualify, and sustain test stations and mechanical ground support equipment for optical satellite terminals. The role owns end-to-end build and test processes, functional requirements, yield performance, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, process documentation, PFMEA and control plans, and cross-functional coordination with design, test, manufacturing, and quality teams. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, at least seven years of manufacturing, test, or GSE engineering experience, and extensive experience with precision electro-mechanical hardware, motion metrology, CAD, failure investigations, GD&T, and quality planning. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 159,200 to 215,300 USD annually.
