SpaceX is hiring a Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer, Electrical (Starshield) to troubleshoot, root-cause, and resolve hardware failures in Starshield satellite PCBAs. The role involves failure analysis, yield and defect monitoring, test and inspection process improvement, electrical design and manufacturing improvements, documentation, on-orbit reliability collaboration, and mentorship. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, at least five years of hardware development, failure analysis, or reliability engineering experience, and at least two years of electrical test equipment experience. The position offers a Level 3 base salary of $140,000 to $205,000, medical, vision, and dental coverage, retirement and disability benefits, paid leave, and potential long-term incentives.
