Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior High-Speed Electro-Optical IC Engineer to design, simulate, model, and develop silicon photonics and electro-optical integrated circuits for Starlink’s space and ground infrastructure. The role covers RF, analog, mixed-signal, microwave, optical, and high-speed SerDes circuit design; IC floor planning and layout; characterization; automated test equipment; and production testing and qualification. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or computer science engineering and at least five years of photonics or electro-optical integrated circuit design experience. The position offers a Level 3 base salary of $165,000 to $270,000, medical, vision, and dental coverage, retirement and disability benefits, paid leave, and other perks.
