Description
Astra is hiring a Test & Launch Engineer to design and commission instrumentation and control systems for Rocket 4 test stands, including DAQ architectures, control logic, wiring, sensors, and data pipelines. The role also owns the Launch System Simulator, integrates hardware-in-the-loop and fault-injection test campaigns, and supports active test campaigns at Castle and Orion while traveling to Cape Canaveral. The position is based in Alameda, California, requires on-site laboratory work, and offers a salary of $140,000–$180,000 plus equity and health, vision, dental, and 401K benefits.
