Mayo Clinic is hiring a Senior Information Security Engineer to lead complex security engineering initiatives with significant autonomy. The role focuses on translating security requirements into scalable solutions, supporting secure software development and delivery pipelines, designing representative development and agentic workflows, evaluating security technologies, and addressing risks from AI-assisted software development. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree plus five years of relevant experience, one or more specified certifications, and strong security engineering, application security, CI/CD, cloud or container, and AI-assisted development experience. The position is full-time, hybrid, and must be located within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus; visa sponsorship is not available.
