Promtior is hiring a Sr. Java Developer to join its Engineering team and develop and maintain production backend services in Java. The role focuses on building APIs and backend components with Spring and Spring Boot, working with relational databases and JPA/Hibernate, and contributing to design, testing, code reviews, and production deployment. Required experience includes backend or API development, JVM and memory performance, microservices and distributed systems, containerization with Docker, and advanced English. The position offers a hybrid work model and is available in Montevideo, Uruguay, or Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Corrientes, or Chaco, Argentina.
