The Senior Java Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java and Spring Boot backend applications, including RESTful APIs and microservices. The role focuses on application performance, CPU and memory optimization, bottleneck resolution, production troubleshooting, and collaboration with frontend, DevOps, architecture, and product teams. Candidates must have hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience, knowledge of backend architecture, and experience with Node.js or Python FastAPI; Generative AI, GraphQL, cloud, containerization, CI/CD, and monitoring experience are preferred. The position offers USD 44,000–154,000 in compensation and is available to independent contractors.
