Description
The Sr. Linux Engineer will administer and automate on-premises Linux server and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments, support Electronic Design Automation compute systems and IBM LSF job scheduling, resolve complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, manage security and change processes, and provide on-call support. The role requires a BS degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of Linux engineering experience, and expertise in Linux systems, Ansible, Python, Bash, EDA, IBM LSF, virtualization, storage, networking, and database technologies. It is a 12-month contract paying $60–$75 per hour, not eligible for visa sponsorship, and accepts direct W-2 or 1099 applications.
