Amgen Capability Center Portugal is hiring a Sr Machine Learning Engineer in Lisbon to serve as a senior individual contributor and player-coach for building and scaling end-to-end machine-learning and generative-AI platforms. The role focuses on designing ML pipelines, productionizing models into secure microservices and full-stack AI applications, improving performance and cost, adding observability and responsible-AI controls, and partnering with DevOps, Security, Compliance, Product, and data science teams. The position requires 3-5 years of AI/ML and enterprise software experience, strong Python and Java skills, cloud and MLOps expertise, and a master’s or bachelor’s degree with significant related experience.
