Description
Amgen is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, AI Studio to own end-to-end AI assets or substantial technical workstreams from problem framing through production deployment and lifecycle operations. The role covers production software, statistics, classical machine learning, deep learning, NLP, GenAI, RAG, bounded agents, data and knowledge pipelines, APIs, MLOps/LLMOps, security, governance, and operations. The engineer will define baselines and evaluation criteria, develop models and inference services, establish MLOps/LLMOps practices, coordinate regulated AI controls, and mentor engineers while delivering measurable business outcomes.
