Intuitive is seeking a Senior Algorithm Engineer to lead the development of planning and guidance software for its Ion robotic endoluminal biopsy platform. The role focuses on real-time endobronchial and min-profile ultrasound analysis, including detection, segmentation, classification, speckle reduction, acoustic artifact mitigation, temporal tracking, and fusion with pre-operative imaging. Responsibilities include algorithm design, model deployment in high-performance C++ environments, system integration, testing, documentation, and patent applications. Candidates need a master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field, at least five years of industrial algorithm development experience, strong Python and C++ skills, and expertise in medical imaging, computer vision, and ultrasound data.
