Description
BD is hiring a manufacturing excellence leader for its Canaan site to drive operational excellence, cost-to-win improvements, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, Kaizen events, value-stream optimization, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The role leads multi-functional teams, coaches plant OPEX engineers and associates, develops best practices, and supports business-unit operating plans. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, Lean and Six Sigma experience, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, plant leadership experience, production-system experience, and experience in a multi-site, multicultural environment. The position includes regular travel of up to 10% to manufacturing sites.
