Intuitive is hiring a Sr. Manager Clinical Research Engineering to lead early-stage clinical research and new product concept development for robotic-assisted surgery technologies. The role collaborates with engineers, physicians, researchers, and other stakeholders; defines clinical performance goals and risks; manages clinical programs and budgets; develops clinical de-risking, feasibility, pilot, and pivotal studies; evaluates prototypes; and supports regulatory, reimbursement, and intellectual property strategies. Candidates need a master’s or doctoral degree in biomedical or mechanical engineering or a similar field, at least eight years of clinical engineering or medical device product development experience, and expertise in product development, design controls, robotic systems, clinical hypotheses, and cross-functional collaboration.
