The role combines player-coach technical leadership with managing a small team of decision scientists, owning marketplace quality metrics and experimentation rigor, evaluating business tradeoffs and long-term revenue impact, partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, and other stakeholders, and communicating quantitative findings to executive leadership. The position offers a hybrid work environment, with most US-based work performed remotely, and lists a US base salary range of $207,500-$265,000.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, computer science, operations research, economics, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of product analytics or data science experience in a product, engineering, or technology environment
2+ years of people management experience, including performance management and career development
Experience leading data teams on organizational priorities with senior stakeholder trust
Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests to drive product decisions
Experience developing metric and tradeoff frameworks, including modeling or forecasting longer-term metric and revenue impact
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with two-sided marketplaces, particularly supply and demand dynamics
Experience partnering with machine learning or applied science teams on ranking, search, or recommendation systems
