Description

OpenText is hiring a Senior Manager to lead the development and delivery of its cloud-native Information Management Services and SaaS applications. The role partners with Product Management, Architecture, Cloud Operations, and other cross-functional teams to define platform strategy, manage APIs and services, oversee product delivery, integrate AI-led development practices, and lead a geographically dispersed team of developers and product professionals. The position is based in the OpenText office in Richmond Hill/Waterloo, Canada, and requires extensive cloud-native, SaaS, Java, Kubernetes, and AI development experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience with extensive industry engineering background, including management or project management.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience delivering and managing large-scale, multi-tenant, cloud-native platform services or SaaS applications using DevSecOps.
Expertise in SaaS and cloud development, Kubernetes, and hyperscaler platforms.
Experience with cloud service delivery models and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience designing and developing Java applications using Spring Framework or Spring Boot and API-first development.
Hands-on experience with Agentic AI development practices across design, development, testing, and operations.
Agile project management training and hands-on delivery experience.
Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
