PayPal is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering for Venmo Commerce products used by millions of customers and businesses. The role manages multiple projects and direct reports, sets engineering KPIs, owns technical direction and roadmaps, builds and develops engineering teams, and partners with Product, Design, Analytics, and business stakeholders. Candidates need at least 8 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, and experience leading others. The role is based in San Jose, California or Austin, Texas, with a balanced hybrid work model and annual base pay ranging from $178,500 to $291,500 depending on location.
