Description
AWS is hiring a Senior Manager, Specialist Solutions Architecture for Relational Databases to lead a worldwide team of specialist solutions architects focused on Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, Amazon DMS, and other relational database services. The role owns the global specialist strategy, engages directly with strategic customers on complex migrations, data modeling, performance and cost optimization, high availability, and large-scale architecture, represents customer needs to service teams, and builds scalable enablement and engagement mechanisms. The position requires at least five years of management experience and eight years of infrastructure, database, and networking experience, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The base salary is $201,000–$272,000 USD annually in Arlington, Virginia, or Seattle, Washington, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
